## Job Vacancy: Laboratory Analyst
PT Kawasan Industri Medan is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Laboratory Analyst. This role is vital for maintaining the environmental standards and operational integrity of the industrial estate.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must fulfill the following educational and professional requirements:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Grade Point Average: Minimum GPA of 2.80 out of a 4.00 scale.
* Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working as a Laboratory Analyst is strongly preferred.
* Core Competencies and Technical Skills:
* Comprehensive understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management.
* Proficiency in conducting Environmental Impact Analyses.
* Mastery of water sample analysis techniques and proper collection methods.
* Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
* Expertise in operating specialized laboratory tools and devices.
Primary Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be entrusted with several critical operational and administrative duties within the laboratory department:
* Collecting wastewater samples directly from PT KIM's waste management treatment units.
* Analyzing wastewater samples originating from PT KIM's internal treatment facilities as well as from industrial partners, followed by drafting comprehensive analysis reports.
* Testing clean water samples sourced from third-party water management units within PT KIM and from designated inlet points of industrial partners utilizing the clean water supply.
* Managing the administration of chemical inventory, tracking both receipt and usage, and overseeing chemical logistics.
* Maintaining laboratory equipment, performing internal calibrations, and generating accurate calibration reports.
* Compiling and drafting official reports to be submitted to relevant regulatory authorities.
* Producing consistent daily and monthly operational reports.
* Executing additional directives and tasks assigned by the Head of Department and Division Head.
