JAS Airport Services is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill several critical operational roles. Below are the details regarding the responsibilities and requirements for each position.
1. GSE / Load Master
The Load Master plays a vital role in ensuring aircraft safety and efficiency during the critical ground handling phase.
* Supervise all ramp activities, including the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo.
* Ensure precise placement of containers according to the Loading Instruction Report (LIR) and Weight & Balance Manual.
* Verify ULD locking mechanisms and inspect the integrity of cargo holds and door sills.
* Maintain seamless communication with GSE Operators, Porters, and Flight Crews.
* Report any procedural discrepancies or damaged equipment immediately.
* Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
* Proficiency in English communication.
* Must hold a valid GSE/BTT license.
* Strong understanding of apron safety procedures.
* Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and strong teamwork capabilities.
2. Cargo Import
This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and security of incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
* Manage the acceptance and breakdown of import cargo in accordance with IATA regulations (DGR, PCR, TCR, LAR).
* Handle special shipments, including dangerous goods, perishable items, and live animals.
* Maintain accurate records in COSYS and TPS Online systems.
* Document and report any irregularities, damages, or shortages.
* Facilitate coordination between Avsec and internal departments.
* Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
* Active Forklift License (FLT) and SIM A (Driver’s License).
* Knowledge of airline products and international standards.
* Ability to operate computer systems, including SITA communications.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Willingness to work rotating shifts.
3. Flight Coordinator
Flight Coordinators are the backbone of flight operations, ensuring that every departure is safe, calculated, and compliant.
* Collaborate with flight planning teams to optimize routes based on weather and air traffic data.
* Ensure all flight documentation is current and complete.
* Coordinate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and flight crews for smooth operations.
* Conduct performance calculations to verify weight and balance safety limits.
* Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure policy compliance.
* Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in the general aviation industry.
* Must hold an active Flight Operations Officer (FOO) license.
* Understanding of IATA SGHA is highly preferred.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and planning skills.
