We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified professionals to strengthen our exploration team at our operational site in North Musi Rawas (Musi Rawas Utara), South Sumatra.
1. Junior Geologist
As a Junior Geologist, you will play a vital role on the ground, executing exploration phases and maintaining data integrity according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute comprehensive exploration stages, including geological mapping, drilling operations, geophysical logging, coal sampling, and detailed reporting aligned with operational schedules.
* Describe core drilling samples accurately and generate precise drill logs.
* Interpret geophysical logging data and maintain an organized drilling database.
* Collaborate closely with the exploration team to ensure full compliance with internal standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience within the mining or exploration sector.
* Strong mastery of coal geological mapping, drilling supervision, coal sample handling, database management, geophysical logging interpretation, and borehole correlation.
* Willingness to be placed at our site in North Musi Rawas, South Sumatra.
2. Exploration Geologist
For experienced professionals, the Exploration Geologist role offers an opportunity to lead, strategize, and oversee comprehensive geological investigations and resource modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and supervise end-to-end exploration activities, encompassing mapping, drilling, logging, geophysics, sampling, and technical reporting.
* Perform coal seam correlation and geological interpretation.
* Develop reliable coal geological models and manage rigorous database validation processes.
* Coordinate effectively with exploration teams, supporting departments, and external third parties.
* Ensure all field and office activities strictly adhere to safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
Candidate Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of dedicated professional experience in coal exploration.
* Deep proficiency in coal geological mapping, drilling management, exploration reporting, geological modeling, and coal resource estimation.
* Possession of a valid Mining Supervisor certification (Pengawas Pertambangan Tingkat Pratama - POP, or Madya - POM).
