# Career Opportunity: Secretariat and Technical Support for the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP)
The Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) plays a pivotal role in shaping Indonesia’s future. Tasked with centralizing national development strategy, Bappenas works closely with the President to ensure efficient governance and long-term socioeconomic growth. Within this agency, the Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy acts as the primary architect for policies driving sustainable development in these vital sectors.
Currently, the Directorate is seeking two highly motivated professionals to serve as Secretariat and Technical Support staff for the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP). This initiative, developed in partnership with the World Bank, aims to catalyze high-quality tourism growth across Indonesia.

## Candidate Qualifications
Bappenas is looking for individuals who combine strong academic foundations with a proactive approach to project management.
* Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning (Planology) or Economics.
* Academic Achievement: A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required. Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Language Proficiency: Must possess strong English communication skills, evidenced by:
* TOEFL ITP: Minimum 500
* TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80
* TOEFL Prediction: Minimum 500
* Additional Advantages:
* Demonstrated experience through internships, research projects, or organizational involvement.
* Prior experience working or interning with Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development institutions.
* Practical background in tourism, development economics, sustainable development, public policy, or international development cooperation.
* Compliance: Candidates must not be currently employed as ASN, military (TNI), or police (Polri) personnel and must not hold a National Employee Identification Number (NIP).
## Scope of Work
Successful candidates will serve as a bridge between technical planning and administrative execution. Key responsibilities include:
1. Administrative & Coordination Support: Ensuring the smooth operational flow of the SQTDP.
2. Technical Documentation: Drafting, processing, and maintaining documentation related to program substance and technical materials.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Reviewing project documents to ensure they meet the rigorous standards required to obtain a "No Objection Letter" (NOL) from the World Bank.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating effective communication between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, the World Bank, government ministries, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
5. Task Follow-up: Ensuring that all feedback and specific requirements from the World Bank or external partners are addressed promptly.
